Privacy Policy

How Partypass Ltd (UK, company no. 17332882) collects and uses personal data on the PartyPass ticketing platform. Last updated: 15 July 2026.

1Who we are

1.1

This Privacy Policy explains how Partypass Ltd (“PartyPass”, “we”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17332882, collects and uses personal data when you use partypass.to. We are the data controller for personal data processed to operate the Platform. You can reach us at hello@partypass.to.

1.2

For attendee data tied to a specific event, the Organizer of that event is a separate, independent data controller for their own use of that data.

2Data we collect

2.1

When you buy a ticket: your name, email address, and where relevant your phone number, dance role, chosen ticket type and add-ons, together with the record of your purchase.

2.2

When you create an organizer account: your email and account details, the event information you enter, and payout details held by Stripe. We do not store your bank or card numbers.

2.3

Technical data: the pages you view, the website that referred you, basic device/browser information, and your IP address, which we hash — we do not store raw IP addresses. We also store your language preference.

2.4

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. The Platform is intended for adults.

3How and why we use your data

3.1

To provide the Platform and deliver your tickets — this is necessary to perform our contract with you.

3.2

To send you transactional messages (your ticket, reminders, event updates, and post-event messages from the Organizer) by email and, if you opt in, via Telegram or WhatsApp — to perform our contract and for our legitimate interest in keeping you informed.

3.3

To provide customer support and process refunds — to perform our contract and for our legitimate interests.

3.4

To measure traffic and improve the Platform using aggregated, cookieless analytics — for our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our service.

3.5

To comply with legal obligations and to prevent fraud and abuse — to meet a legal obligation and for our legitimate interests.

4Payments

4.1

Payments are processed by Stripe (events priced in EUR) or by Monobank, a Ukrainian acquiring bank (events priced in UAH). Card details are entered on the payment provider’s own systems; PartyPass never sees or stores full card numbers. Each provider processes your data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

4.2

For Ukrainian organizers, fiscal receipts required by Ukrainian tax law are issued via Checkbox (checkbox.ua); the receipt (with your purchase details) is generated and emailed through that service.

5Who we share data with

5.1

The Organizer of an event you buy a ticket to, so they can fulfil and manage that event (acting as an independent controller).

5.2

Service providers acting on our behalf, including Stripe and Monobank (payments), Checkbox (fiscal receipts for Ukrainian organizers), Supabase (database hosting in the EU), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (transactional email), Twilio (WhatsApp delivery) and Telegram (only where you opt in to those channels), and Google Wallet or Apple Wallet (only when you choose to add your ticket to a wallet — the pass data is then processed by Google or Apple).

5.3

Authorities or advisers where we are required to do so by law. We do not sell your personal data.

6Cookies

6.1

Essential cookies: a language-preference cookie (pp_lang) and, for logged-in organizers, session and authentication cookies.

6.2

Quick-fill storage: after a purchase we store the name, email and phone you entered in a cookie (pp_buyer, up to 180 days) and in your browser’s local storage, solely so your next checkout on this device is prefilled. This is functional convenience storage requested by your purchase — it is never used for tracking or shared for profiling, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and site data in your browser.

6.3

Our analytics are cookieless — no tracking cookies and no cross-site profiling. Payment providers may set their own cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.

7International transfers

7.1

Our database is hosted in the EU. Some of our providers (for example Stripe) may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

8How long we keep it

8.1

We keep purchase and account data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Technical and analytics data is retained only in aggregate.

9Your rights

9.1

Subject to applicable law (UK GDPR / GDPR), you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request portability. To exercise these rights, email hello@partypass.to.

9.2

For personal data tied to a specific event, you may also need to contact that event’s Organizer.

9.3

You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

10Changes to this policy

10.1

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at https://partypass.to/privacy, with the “last updated” date shown below the title.
